...Laos - ND1962-1963 Issues

 ພຣະຣາຊອານາຈັກລາວ
(The Kingdom of Laos)

ທະນາຄານແຫ່ງຊາດລາວ
(Banque Nationale Du Laos)
Currency - Kip (LAK)

Here are a full set of notes issued between 1962 and 1963 from 1 to 1000 kip.

Laos was once occupied by the French until 1953, when it finally got independence on 22.10.1953. The French interference in Laos started as early as in 1893, and ruled the Kingdom under the pretense as a 'protectorate' territory, despite the fact that they couldn't even protect the Kingdom during the Second World War when the Japanese invaded the country in 1941.

Whilst below is a full set of notes that I have, but not all the notes have matching signatures. These notes that I have posted here are 'cheap' banknotes and can be easily acquired. I believe none of these banknotes are worth more than US$10 each, and some of them is worth between US$1 to $2 each. All notes posted here are in uncirculated condition.

Most of the above notes were scanned more than 20 years ago at 100dpi. I am not going to re-scan them as it is just too much work. I apologies for the poor quality.
