Footnote: This note celebrates the 45th year of ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asia Nations). ASEAN was formed on the 8.8.1967 by the founding members of Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. The aims of ASEAN includes accelerating economic growth, social progress, cultural development among its members, protection of regional peace and stability, and opportunities for member countries to discuss differences peacefully. Since then, the membership expanded to include Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.

The overprint on the note reads as follow;-
