Sarawak (now part of Malaysia since 1963) $1 dated
1935. In all my purchases, I seldom buy notes in any other conditions
except uncirculated. I graded this note as Fair. Most collectors would
agreed with me that to get this note in an uncirculated condition is not
just hard but can be very expensive too. I bought this note because it
was fairly cheap and also because I do not have one in my collection.
There are no shortage of this note in such condition in the market. A
slightly better condition of this can fetch more than 10 times for what I
had paid for this note. This note is so worn out that it is in a very
fragile condition.
