Two notes of 5 and 10 gulden issued by the Japanese Military government during its occupation in 1942. The note is printed on the front with the Dutch character "De Japansche Regeering" (The Japanese Government). The design of these notes are similar to those issued by the Japanese Military government in Malaya in 1941. These notes are printed with 2-letter prefixes but with no serial numbers.
