May I know how can I identify which year for sg notes? Thanks
ReplyDeleteHi Chun Yi
DeleteThank you for your comment. I do not think we can. All we did was to wait for it to be reported and than agak-agak the year when it was first reported. You will find that new notes in Singapore are usually released either in December or early January in readiness for the CNY celebrations. New notes are also issued during the year when there is a demand for it.
Thanks
Normally it is around end of December or early December? I think you stayed in Malaysia before, is it?
DeleteDepending when the new year will be. Given that the next one falls on 28.01.2017, it is very likely that new notes will be issued sometime in December or early January, just like banks in Malaysia. Your local banks should be able to confirm this. However not many new notes were made available to the public in Malaysia for the last new year celebrations. Good luck.
